How to Order Weed Delivery in Manhattan

Koreatown at seven on a weeknight is a wall of people. The barbecue smoke is rolling out onto Korea Way, the karaoke signs are lit up the sides of the buildings, and the last thing you want is one more stop. This is exactly the situation legal delivery was built for. You are 21, you are home, and the menu is on your phone. Here is how the whole thing works in Manhattan, start to finish, with no surprises.

The Four Steps

The process is deliberately boring, which is the point. Legal delivery should feel like ordering anything else, with one extra beat for the ID check.

• Shop the menu. Browse what is actually in stock right now. The menu is live, so what you see is what is on the shelf at 862 9th Ave.
• Check out. Enter your Manhattan address and pick your payment. You will confirm you are 21 or older here.
• We pack and dispatch. Your order is pulled at our counter in Hell's Kitchen and goes out with our own driver.
• ID at the door. The driver checks your ID against the order, hands it over, and that is it.

What You Need Before You Start

Three things, and only three. Getting these right up front is the difference between a delivery that lands and one that gets turned around at your door.

• You are 21 or older. No exceptions, no medical card workaround, no "my roommate is 21." New York adult-use law is firm on this.
• A valid government photo ID. A driver's license, state ID, or passport. It has to be unexpired and it has to be physical. A photo of your ID on your phone will not clear the check.
• A real Manhattan address. An apartment, a house, a hotel room you are staying in. We deliver to a person at a door.

Paying for It: Delivery Is Not the Store

This is the single most common point of confusion, so it is worth being blunt about it. The payment options in our shop and the payment options on delivery are not the same list.

Delivery runs on Aeropay. If you would rather pay cash or tap a debit card, that is an in-store visit.

Aeropay is a bank-to-bank transfer you set up once, and after that it is a tap at checkout. It exists because cannabis and the traditional card networks still do not get along, which is a federal banking quirk rather than anything to do with New York law. How Long It Actually Takes

Same-day means same-day, but Manhattan is Manhattan. Here is an honest read on timing rather than a marketing promise.

Distance from Hell's Kitchen is the main driver. Weather, traffic, and Friday night all add time.

Two practical notes. First, order before close, not at close. Our hours are Mon-Wed 10am-12am, Thu-Fri 10am-1am, Sat 11am-1am, Sun 11am-11pm, and an order placed three minutes before the door shuts is a tight ask. What Happens at the Door

The knock is the least dramatic part. Our driver is a Cannadreams team member, trained and licensed, not a gig-app contractor who picked up your bag from a stranger. They will ask for your ID, check the name and the date of birth against the order, hand you a sealed bag, and go. The whole exchange takes under a minute.

A few things that make it smoother: be the person who placed the order, since the name on the ID has to match. Have the ID in your hand rather than somewhere in the apartment. And if you live in a building with a desk, meet the driver in the lobby, because we hand cannabis to you, not to a doorman.

Why the Licensed Route Matters Here

Manhattan is thick with people who will bring you a bag. Very few of them are legal. An unlicensed delivery has no lab testing behind it, no packaging standards, no recourse if the product is not what was described, and no guarantee that whoever shows up is who they said they would be. The trade-off is not really about price. It is about whether anyone tested what you are about to consume, and whether there is a real business at a real address standing behind it. Mistakes That Cost You the Delivery

Almost every order that goes sideways in Manhattan goes sideways for one of a handful of reasons, and all of them are avoidable in about ten seconds of attention:

• Nobody is home. Cannabis cannot be left at a door, handed to a neighbor, or dropped with a package room. A person 21 or older has to receive it.
• The ID is expired. An expired license is not a valid ID, however recently it lapsed. The driver has no discretion here and neither do we.
• The name does not match. If your roommate placed the order, your roommate takes the handoff.
• The address is incomplete. Apartment numbers matter enormously in a city built vertically. A missing unit number in a 40-floor building is a real delay.
• Aeropay was not set up. Do this once, before you check out, not while the driver is on the way.

None of this is bureaucracy for its own sake. Every one of those rules traces back to the terms of a New York State retail license, and a licensed shop that gets casual about them does not stay a licensed shop for long. That accountability is the product.
