Weed Prices NYC
Every category, every price tier, every deal, on one page
Weed prices in NYC start at $10 for a full gram pre-roll and run to $100 for an ounce of flower, and this page lays out the whole menu: what each category costs, how strong it is, how to dose it, what is on offer this week, and where we deliver free. Cannadreams is a licensed Manhattan dispensary in Hell's Kitchen, a straight run down the West Side from the Financial District and Fraunces Tavern.
Weed prices at our Manhattan dispensary run from $4.40 for a 10mg THC seltzer up to $170 for a large-format ounce of top-shelf flower. The everyday middle is where most people land: pre-rolls $10 to $60, flower $30 to $100, vapes $40 to $88, edibles $22 to $35 for a 100mg pack, and concentrates $40 to $65. Twenty dollars buys a real gram and a drink. A hundred buys an ounce. Delivery across Manhattan is free on a $35 minimum and you pick a one-hour window. Everything below is pulled from our live menu, not a price guide.
What You Are Actually Paying For
A licensed New York price includes things an unlicensed price does not. Every product on our shelf is grown by a licensed New York cultivator, processed by a licensed processor, lab tested for potency and contaminants, and taxed by the state. The tax is built into the shelf price, so what you see on the menu is what you pay at the counter. Nothing gets added at checkout.
That is the honest reason a licensed gram is not the cheapest gram in the city. It is also the reason it is the only gram anyone has actually tested. If you are weighing that trade, the comparison is laid out further down this page and in more detail in our guide to whether weed is legal in Manhattan.
Prices move. Cultivators change wholesale rates, promotions rotate weekly, and stock turns over fast on a roughly 2,000 product menu. The ranges on this page are read from what is in stock right now, and the live menu is always the final word.

Weed Prices by Category, Side by Side
This is the table to read first. It answers what a category costs, how strong it runs, how quickly it works, how long it stays with you, and who it suits. Strength figures are real lab numbers from products in stock, not marketing ranges.
| Category | Price Range | Typical THC | Kicks In | Lasts | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pre-Rolls | $10 to $60 | 24% to 44% | Minutes | 1 to 3 hours | Nothing to set up, our number one seller |
| Flower | $30 to $100 | 22% to 32% | Minutes | 1 to 3 hours | Best value per gram at larger sizes |
| Vapes | $40 to $88 | 72% to 91% | Minutes | 1 to 3 hours | Discreet, low smell, small apartments |
| Edibles | $22 to $35 | 100mg packs, 5 to 10mg a piece | 30 min to 2 hours | 4 to 8 hours | A long night in, nothing to smoke |
| THC Drinks | $4.40 to $6 | 10mg a can | 15 to 30 min | 2 to 4 hours | The cheapest way to try it, social |
| Concentrates | $20 to $100 | 43% to 87% | Minutes | 1 to 3 hours | Experienced buyers, strongest per dollar |
| Tinctures | $30 to $70 | 600mg to 1000mg a bottle | 15 to 45 min | 4 to 6 hours | Measured dosing, no smoke, no sugar |
| Rolling Papers | $2 to $3 | None | n/a | n/a | Papers and cones, cheapest thing we sell |

Ranges reflect in-stock products at the time of writing across roughly 2,000 menu items. Onset and duration vary by person, body weight, tolerance and whether you have eaten. Edibles are the one to go slow with.
How Fast It Works, and How Long It Lasts
The single most common mistake at the counter is treating an edible like a pre-roll. The gap below is why. Anything you inhale is working before you have finished it. An edible can take two hours to arrive and then stays for most of an evening.
What $20, $40, $60 and $100 Actually Buys
Most people arrive with a number in their head rather than a product in mind. This is the ladder, built from what is on the shelf right now. Every basket below is a real combination you can put together off the live menu today.
| Budget | What It Gets You | Or Instead | Best Value Pick |
|---|---|---|---|
| $20 | Two $10 one-gram pre-rolls | One 100mg 20-piece gummy pack | A $13 gram of flower plus a $5 seltzer |
| $40 | An eighth of flower and a pre-roll | A half-gram vape cartridge | Four $10 grams of pre-roll, four different strains |
| $60 | A full-gram vape cartridge | Two eighths on a mix-and-match deal | A 100mg edible pack, an eighth, and a drink |
| $100 | An ounce of flower on a large-format deal | Three concentrate grams on a 3-for-$90 bundle | The ounce, at roughly $3.60 a gram |
| Under $10 | A 10mg THC seltzer at $4.40 | Rolling papers or cones at $2 to $3 | The seltzer, if you have never tried any of this |

Edible and Drink Dosing, By Milligram
Nearly every bad edible story is a dosing story. Our packs are almost all 100mg total, split into 10 or 20 pieces, which means one piece is 5mg or 10mg. Start at the bottom of this table and wait the full two hours before deciding it did not work. For the long version, read the edibles dosing guide.
| Dose | Who It Suits | What It Feels Like | Onset | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2.5mg | Never tried an edible | Light and easy to talk through, barely a change | 30 min to 2 hrs | 2 to 4 hours |
| 5mg | The standard first dose | Relaxed and clearly noticeable, still functional | 30 min to 2 hrs | 4 to 6 hours |
| 10mg | Occasional users, one whole seltzer | Strong and unmistakable, plan to stay put | 30 min to 2 hrs | 4 to 8 hours |
| 20mg | Regular users only | Heavy, sedating for most people | 30 min to 2 hrs | 6 to 8 hours |
| 50mg and up | High tolerance only | Not a social dose, an evening at home | 30 min to 2 hrs | 8 hours or more |

Effects vary with body weight, tolerance, and whether you have eaten. Taking a second dose because the first has not landed yet is the most common mistake there is. This is general product information, not medical advice.
THC Strength Scale, Low to High
Percentages are not comparable across formats, which is where most confusion starts. A 90% vape is not nine times a 25% pre-roll, because you consume a fraction of the amount. Use this to place yourself, then read the price table for what it costs.
Edibles, drinks and tinctures are measured in milligrams, not percentages, so they are not on this scale. See the dosing table above for those.
Delivery, Pickup, or Walk In
Three ways to buy, and the differences that actually matter are the minimum order, the payment method, and how long it takes. Delivery is prepaid. In store you can pay cash.

Counts and prices are read from live stock and change daily. Nothing here is a loss leader, they are simply the lowest real prices in each category.
First Time Buying? Five Things to Know
Everything that trips people up on a first visit, in the order it comes up. None of it is complicated, but all of it is worth knowing before you are standing at the counter.
1 Bring a real ID
Unexpired, government-issued, with a photo and date of birth showing 21 or over. Any state, any country, and a passport works. A photo of your ID on your phone does not.
2 No card, no residency
New York's adult-use law has no medical card requirement and no residency test. Visitors buy at the same prices locals do. See weed for tourists in NYC.
3 Cash works in store, not on delivery
In store we take cash, debit and Aeropay. Delivery is prepaid with Aeropay or a debit card, so there is nothing to settle at the door.
4 $35 is the delivery minimum
Under $35, order for pickup instead, which has no minimum. Delivery itself is free at every ZIP with no surcharge.
5 Start low if it is your first time
One 5mg piece, or one seltzer, and give it two full hours. The most common mistake is taking a second dose before the first arrives.
6 The price on the menu is the price
New York cannabis tax is built into the shelf price. Nothing is added at checkout, so a $40 basket is $40.
What to Buy for Sleep, Energy, Focus or Social
Short version, with prices. The long version, including which terpenes drive which effect, is in our guide to the best cannabis for sleep, focus and social.
| You Want | Buy This | Why | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sleep | An indica edible or a heavy indica eighth | Edibles last 4 to 8 hours, which covers a night rather than an hour | $22 to $50 |
| Energy | A sativa pre-roll or sativa vape | Works in minutes and wears off in a couple of hours, so it fits a daytime plan | $10 to $50 |
| Focus | A low-dose tincture or a balanced hybrid vape | Measured dosing means you can stay under the point where focus goes | $30 to $70 |
| Social | A 10mg THC seltzer | Onset in 15 to 30 minutes, no smoke, and everyone can have their own | $4.40 to $6 |
Effects are individual and cannabis is not a treatment for any condition. This is product guidance, not medical advice.
Why a Licensed Price Is Worth Paying
A smoke shop gram is often cheaper. Here is precisely what the difference in price buys you, and none of it is an opinion.
1 It is lab tested
Every licensed product is tested for potency, pesticides, heavy metals, solvents and microbials, with a certificate of analysis behind it. Read how to read a COA.
2 The THC number is real
The percentage on a licensed label came from a state-approved lab. On an untested product it came from whoever printed the label.
3 It is legal to sell
Our OCM license is OCMCAURD-2022-000407. A shop without a license number and a Dispensary Verification seal is not licensed.
4 It is New York grown
Licensed product comes from New York cultivators and processors, which is traceable from seed to shelf.
5 Tax is included, not added
The state tax is inside the shelf price. There is no surprise at the register and no cash-only workaround.
6 There is recourse
If a product is wrong, there is a licensed business, a receipt and a regulator behind it. Read the dispensary versus weed trucks comparison.
7 Deals close the gap
With 26 offers running, a bundled licensed price often lands close to an untested one. An ounce at roughly $3.60 a gram is a licensed price.
Weed Prices, Asked and Answered
How much does weed cost in NYC?
At a licensed Manhattan dispensary, a one-gram pre-roll starts at $10, an eighth of flower runs $30 to $50, a vape cartridge is $40 to $88, a 100mg edible pack is $22 to $35, and a 10mg THC seltzer is $4.40 to $6. An ounce of flower on a large-format deal lands around $100, which is roughly $3.60 a gram. Tax is included in every shelf price.
What is the cheapest thing at a dispensary?
Rolling papers at $2 to $3, then a 10mg THC seltzer at $4.40. For actual cannabis, a $10 one-gram pre-roll is the cheapest real product, and a $13 single gram of flower is the cheapest way to try a specific strain.
Is there a delivery fee?
No. Delivery is free to all 42 Manhattan ZIP codes with a $35 minimum order and no zone surcharge. You choose a one-hour delivery window at checkout and pay with Aeropay or a debit card. Pickup has no minimum at all.
Why is a licensed dispensary more expensive than a smoke shop?
Licensed product is grown by a licensed New York cultivator, lab tested for potency and contaminants, and taxed by the state, with the tax built into the shelf price. An untested product skips all three, which is where the price difference comes from. It is also why the THC number on a licensed label is verifiable.
How much is an ounce of weed in Manhattan?
Large-format flower at our dispensary tops out around $100 to $170 depending on the brand and grade. At $100 that works out near $3.60 a gram, which is the lowest per-gram price on the menu. New York allows an adult to possess up to three ounces of flower.
Do prices include tax?
Yes. New York cannabis tax is built into the price shown on the menu and on the shelf, so nothing is added at checkout. A $40 cart is $40.
How many milligrams should a first-time edible user take?
Start at 2.5mg to 5mg, which is half a piece or one piece of a standard 100mg 20-count pack. Wait two full hours before considering more. Edibles can take up to two hours to arrive and then last four to eight hours.
Can I pay with cash?
In store, yes. We accept cash, debit card and Aeropay at the counter, whether you walk in or order ahead for pickup. Delivery is prepaid online with Aeropay or a debit card, so there is no cash handled at the door.
